St Georges is much more than just an historic building. It’s a hard-working church that serves the community in Mayfair. There are regular services held each day, except for Saturdays, plus many other services throughout the year. Our special celebrations at Christmas and Easter are the highlights of our year.
St George’s is first and foremost a living place of Anglican liturgy and worship, with our main Sunday service sung by our superb choir.
Services are held each day (except Saturday) and are based around the Book of Common Prayer giving a sense of being ‘traditional’ in their nature.
All our services are free of charge, and any one can and is welcome to attend.

Morning Calm:
During university term time we start each weekday with Morning Calm. At this short event, we are joined by students of the Royal College of Music, who perform a short session on their chosen instrument, often the piano. This is followed by a short reading for those who wish to stay.
This daily event lasts for around 10 minutes and offers a short period of reflection contemplation and relaxation before the challenges of the day begin.
